A background in soccer or youth sports administration is useful but not required. Comfort using computers and online management tools is important. Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills and roles is important. But mostly we want an individual who wants to make a difference for kids and adults in the Fairbanks community.

FYSA is very supportive of our staff. We look to not only train our employees to do a great job for us, but to prepare our employees for their next great opportunity. We provide training and leadership experience that transfers outside our industry and we have opportunities for advancement and pay increases within our organization.

The position will vary in the number of hours over the year, ranging from full-time during spring and summer to three-quarters time in the fall and winter. The position requires flexibility in work hours and may require some evenings. There are opportunities for additional paid work within our organization.
