Team Registration versus Individual Registration FYSA allows two registration pathways for adult soccer teams in FYSA leagues: Whole team registration and individual player registration. Please pay close attention to this guide on how to register each way.
Individual Registrations Individuals may register as single players. Fees for individual players are graduated based on registration period. Team captains who wish to form teams may request them but there is no guarantee players will join the team. Individual players may request to be on a team but placement is not guaranteed. FYSA staff may add free to any teams up to the roster maximum.
Whole Team Registration Whole team registration permits the team captain to complete the registration for an entire team in the league.
Features of whole team registration:
Locks in a low, flat rate price for the entire team. No matter how many players are on the team, up to the league maximum, the price remains the same.
Locks the roster. If the team is accepted and has the minimum number of players for the division, FYSA will not add free agents to the team.
Add players later. As long as the roster has the minimum number of players on registration, the captain can add players up to the roster maximum at no additional cost (Player must register 2 business days prior to the next game day, no transfers from other teams in the league).
Requirements for whole team registration.
$500.00 non-refundable deposit required by April 18 to lock in the price. Captain is responsible for the whole amount.
Balance and minimum roster due by May 9.
Individual players on the roster must still register on the FYSA site but will pay no additional fee.
Season Dates The season begins the week of June 2nd. No games will be held June 30th- July 5th. The season will end in the final week of July. Additional dates are occasionally added to make up for any potential weather-related cancellations. All divisions are 8 weeks long.

Discounts FYSA will provide a 10% discount off all registration fees for families registering more than one child in FYSA season-long youth soccer programs (clinics and small-child programs exempted). To qualify, the youth players must share at least one parent or legal guardian. The 10% reduction will apply to all items of an equal or lesser value to the highest cost registration automatically. This discount will only apply if you register both children in the same transaction.
Uniforms & Required Gear All players must wear shinguards, soccer socks and appropriate footwear (tennis shoes or soccer cleats) in order to play in any FYSA adult league. All players on a team need to wear the same color jersey. Teams need to have both a light AND dark jersey option. FYSA has a standard adult league reversible (maroon/white) jersey on sale for $20 for free agent teams and for teams that choose to wear our jersey as their uniform. Socks, shinguards, and shorts are available for purchase within the registration form. You will not be permitted to play while wearing jewelry.
Games Only (No Practices) All FYSA adult league divisions are games only, we do not schedule or provide any practice times.
