Each fall, the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District offers a middle school soccer season for interested schools. FYSA assists in facilitating this short, fun season by drafting a schedule and providing fields, restrooms and referees for games. The FYSA registration fee ($40) helps cover the expense of these services for the season as no additional funding is provided by the district. Individual schools are responsible for selecting their team(s) coach(es), holding tryouts, organizing practices, and coordinating transportation for game days.

Players should register here only after having been directed to do so by their respective school and/or coach. If there are youth who are NOT a student at one of the participating schools, they may register here, selecting ‘Other’ as their school. A registration fee will NOT be assessed, and their participation will be considered on a case-by-case basis (i.e. FYSA will check and see if the player is permitted to participating in this district activity, and if any teams are looking for an additional player).

All games will take place at the FYSA field complex at 1901 Wilbur Street. 

All teams will play each other 1 time to determine standings (3pts for a win, 1 for a tie, 0 for a loss, etc.).
