Your player should have at least 1 year of recreational league experience before joining this league.

All Advanced Recreational players will require a reversible purple/white jersey.  If you have a jersey that fits from the past season then please feel free to wear that. If you are in need of a new jersey, FYSA will have them available for purchase during registration or in-person at our office for $20.  Any appropriate black socks, black shorts and shinguards may be worn for this season.  For more information about required equipment, click here. 

All Advanced Recreational players that did not participate in the Advanced Rec Division in Fall Indoor Soccer will be asked to attend a pre-season skills assessment. This is not a tryout, all players will be placed on a team. The skills assessment will assist us in making well balanced teams in an effort to give all players a similar playing experience.  No one will get cut, this is just to ensure fair teams. More information on the day/time of Skills Assessment will be sent out in the coming weeks. Your player should have at least 1 year of recreational league experience before joining this league.

Winter Skills Assessment: Saturday December 14th at Tanana Middle School

U10 Advanced Rec: 1PM-2PM

U12 Advanced Rec: 2:30PM-3:30PM

U10 Advanced Recreational League: 

• This is designed for players seeking a little bit more challenge in their soccer experience, our U10 advanced recreational league is for players born in 2015 & 2016 that have at least one prior season of indoor or outdoor soccer experience.
• Practices will be held on weeknights and games will be held on Saturdays. 
• Teams will be scheduled for 8 practices and 8 games. Please be aware that while we’ll strive to follow this schedule, we may not be able to offer makeups for cancelled sessions due to limited gym space.
• Each player will receive at least 50% playing time.
• Players may not request a coach or practice time in the advanced recreational league.
• A special purple & gray advanced FYSA reversible jersey is required and can be purchased during registration. 
• This league is coed.

U12 Advanced Recreational league 

• This league is designed for players seeking a little bit more challenge in their soccer experience, our U12 advanced recreational league is players born in 2013 & 2014 that have at least two prior seasons of indoor or outdoor soccer experience.
• Practices will be held on weeknights and games will be held on Saturdays. 
• Teams will be scheduled for 8 practices and 8 matches. Please be aware that while we’ll strive to follow this schedule, we may not be able to offer makeups for cancelled sessions due to limited gym space.
• Matches are 5v5 with a goalkeeper and played on a 5v5 size court. Matches are played with either a single referee or a referee team..
• Each player will receive at least 50% playing time.
• In order for FYSA to create balanced teams we do not accept coach or carpool requests in the advanced recreational league.
• A special purple & gray advanced FYSA reversible jersey is required and is included in the price of registration.
• This league is coed.

Opponents may include other MSFC teams of the same age, older recreational league teams and Eclipse SC (competitive club) teams of the same age or younger. The purpose of this MSFC program is to provide more opportunities for higher skilled players who are looking for more competition and development.
